Today we traded text messages back and forth (while at work) as to reasons we should buy a house in the next few months versus sharing an apartment for the next year and a half before making such a big purchase. I know you have the ring and are prepared to spend forever with me, and I'm sorry I'm too nervous right now to commit to a house at 100%. Obviously things could change in the next few weeks (or days), and looking back on this letter will probably make both of us laugh... What were we so nervous about anyways? I'll probably read this and think, "I wish we would've gotten the house." So maybe that's what we should do...
Most people take a year of dating to realize that they want to spend the rest of their lives with someone. We both knew before we could count our number of dates on one hand. We're pretty lucky like that.
"It's a little bit funny, this feeling inside... I'm not one of those who can easily hide... I don't have much money, but boy if I did... I'd buy a big house where we both could live..."
Love,
Fox
