Dear Copper,

Today I posted a picture of us from the Color Run (the one where I am on your back) with the caption, "A year ago today, I went on my (last) first date with a guy who changed my life. Yes, life can be a little messy and colorful at times, but we'll always have each other's back." 

I meant every word I said. One year ago, I would have never thought a simple FroYo date could turn into so much more. And as we sat tonight at dinner talking about moving in together a few months from now and on the same perch outside FroYo as we did 365 days prior, I realized yet again how lucky I was to be with you. Sitting there, I could feel myself falling in love with you all over again, thinking, "wow, this guy is really something special." We both shared how much happier we were this year having known each other compared to the one prior, and I can only imagine the lifetime of happiness you will bring me in the future. I am so blessed you have chosen me to share your forever with and I can't imagine life without you.
