It's Sunday, but we both woke up at 6:15 this morning to the curious noise outside our house (one of these days we WILL figure out what it is). After laying there for a while, we decided to just get ready and go to IHOP for breakfast (not brunch, it was before 8 a.m.) before we came back to the house to relax some. You put some jazzy piano going on your phone through the speaker and we had our windows open letting the breeze blow in from outside (beautiful weather this morning). We got all snuggled up on the couch, and I just wanted the moment to keep going. Lucky that I have so many more moments just like that to look forward to with you in the future!

Anyways, I have this patient at the hospital right now who has dementia. He doesn't know the month or year, and couldn't even remember his birth year correctly, but I'll be darned if his wife's name wasn't spot on when the doctor asked him. I pray that neither of us will have such a memory deficit, but I do hope we are together long enough that I will remember your name over the year I was born.
