Dear Copper,
This afternoon I was working with a lady in the cancer center who remarked several times that she was lonely. She had gone through a divorce about 40 years prior and said that her one daughter was a doctor too busy for her. She gave me the wise advice to never live my life alone and without a spouse if I could help it. She said after her divorce, she was never able to find anyone else that she liked that liked her the same way in return. As a result, she lived most of her adult life alone.
In agreeing to marry you, I am agreeing to not only stick it out for the next 5, 10, or 15 years, but for as long as we are both still living. As our psychologist reminded us on Monday, the only two reasons a relationship should come to an end are drugs/alcohol or violence. Otherwise, ALL relationships are possible as long as both parties are willing to see it through until the end.
So here we go, set to start our ALWAYS AND FOREVER marriage about 70 days from now...
Love,
Fox
