Dear Copper,

We went to Six Flags to get our passes processed today and the only ride we went on before the rain was The Joker. You suggested we sit on opposite sides so we could see each other, and you sat next to this little girl in the back row. I saw you say something to her and point to me from across the way, and I just thought how I would have totally have had a crush on you when we were both that age. 

Even now, I'm 25 and have the biggest crush on you (which in grown-up speak translates to "I'm in love with you").

Dear Copper,

Today when we were checking into a hotel, the concierge assumed we were married and called us Mr. and Mrs. I could definitely get used to that and it made me smile.

Then on our cab ride back from a night out, the driver asked where we were from. We both decided to ignore the fact we were locals and play the card that we were just visiting on vacation. "I was born in Texas and went to school in Indiana..." and "I went to school in Kansas and then lived in Alabama for a while..." and "then we just kinda met."  It's moments that that remind me of another reason I love you.

Dear Copper,

Tonight we were sitting at a table eating frozen yogurt talking about why we are so compatible and how we are a good match for one another. During our conversation, the man sitting next to us kept telling everyone passing by to have a good night and saying "hello" and "bye bye" repeatedly. We got into the car and started to drive away, upon which we both started analyzing the man's behaviors. You just looked at me and commented how that was one of the ways you knew we were a good fit. Strange situation to illustrate that we're compatible, but just one of many.
