Dear Copper,

Tonight we went on an Easter Egg hunt together at my childhood park. You found one of the "special" eggs, winning a beer pong set and I took away 13 pieces of chocolate. The hunt itself was alright, but randomly running into you twice over the course of the hunt might have been my favorite part. 200 people wandering around a large area and I find you... twice. I may not have found any special eggs or had enough luck to win any prizes tonight, but I am pretty lucky to have found someone as special as you, even through billions of people.

Today we went on our first run together at the park before having dinner at my house and driving back to your house to drop off your mom's car (your headlights ended up working after all). On the drive back, you expressed how you sometimes doubt our relationship. You should never really doubt my love and affection for you. After church this morning we went mini golfing together for the first time... It was a beautiful day outside and it was nice going on a fun date with the man I love. 

We later went to watch the KU game at Buffalo Wild Wings and you insisted on wearing your dad's Mizzou hat (and then pajama pants when we went back to your house, soccer was on the big screen at the restaurant). Even with your tacky black and gold paraphernalia, I'm pretty happy to call you mine. Seriously, what did I do to deserve a stud of sweetheart like you?!

Tonight I met more of your extended family (the ones in St. Louis/KC) at your cousin's cooking show viewing party. I know it may not seem like that big of a deal to you introducing me, but I've never met a boyfriend's extended family before. It makes me feel special that you not only thought to invite me to the get together, but also that you feel I am important enough to meet more of the people you love.
