Tonight we went to eat at Spare No Rib before going back to Elliot's to play Kings of New York. Now I'm back at home in bed for work tomorrow morning while you're out with four single guys... This morning on my way to work I was freaking out about an upcoming "discussion/talk/confrontation" with my boss. I kept rehearsing what I was going to say repeatedly on my way to work and finally called you on my drive there. Talking with you really helped to calm my nerves and help me settle my thoughts prior to stepping into work. It's little moments like that one that remind me how important you are in my life and how blessed I am to be able to call you mine.

Tonight we split an extra large IMO's pizza, 7 toasted ravioli, 12 Provel bites, and 4 cinnamon buns before having a movie night in your basement watching Netflix. But I actually thought of what to put in tonight's letter while at work today... Kind of a strange love note, but just go with it. Heaven forbid I end up with dementia or some sort of medication-related confusion after a surgery or just become really old... Yours will always be the name that I continually ask for until I see you come into the room.

Not exactly how I imagined starting this year, but I'm kind of upset with you right now. Last night was rough. As my boyfriend, you had two things to do for me on New Years Eve: kiss me at midnight and make sure we would taxi back to where you said we would. You did neither. Instead, I spent an hour looking for your shoes, figuring out a ride home for us, and cleaning up your mess. Then after finally finding your shoes, you had no idea where you left your jacket and hat. And to top it all off, you continually stated throughout the night that you didn't feel you could trust me. Last night was awful. Let's be honest, you dropped the ball last night. Pun intended.
