Dear Copper,

Remember back in May when I wrote you that letter about tossing a penny into the wishing well at the Botanical Garden? Well tonight we went to the Garden Glow where just around the corner from where we made our wish was mistletoe... Per the sign, a kiss under the mistletoe is "a promise to marry as well as a prediction of happiness and long life." Ironically enough, it matched my original wish fairly well...

Dear Copper,

Tonight we met up again after 24 hours apart doing our own thing to have dinner and play a game back at the house. You were pretty tired from going out last night, so we cuddled and put on a movie. You fell asleep within the first half hour, and there was a moment when I stopped to look up at you. As usual, I was reminded of how lucky I am to have you in my life. I really couldn't have been more blessed.

Today we spent our first Thanksgiving together with my family (part two with your family is set for this Saturday). Anyways, we played Catch Phrase, where we were on a team. Apparently we are meant to be together, seeing as I said "blueberry" and you immediately said the keyword "strawberry." Great minds think alike, I suppose... I'm sorry for all of those times I fail to build you up and make you feel like the special and important person you are in my life. Know that I admire and love you for your drive at work, your ability to problem solve through things (as in fixing stuff in my bathroom as well as working with difficult clients at Fulton), your attractive face and smooth hair, your strong arms, your ability to calm people at the drop of a hat and talk with strangers like you've known them for years, the fact that you pull me out of my shell, those times when you opened my car door and was a gentleman without me asking, being so patient with me in general... Today you had a follow-up interview for a position in St. Louis that lasted for almost 2 hours. In case the length of the interview, the interviewer talking about lunches, and the HR lady accidentally saying "congrats" weren't enough of a sign, I found a penny on my way out of work and we both found a dime walking in on our way to dinner.

Thankfully karma, synchronicity, and of course God all approve of this move.
