Today was our first day going to church together just as a couple followed by a date at the Science Center to see a movie at the OmniMax. We then ended the day together in the basement at your house where I ended up falling asleep on your shoulder while watching the World Cup (you wore me out big time the last few days). It was just one of those days where I lost track of time, and I enjoyed every minute I was able to spend with you. Saying goodbye was pretty hard today (this time around we have to go three weeks not seeing each other), but I know you're worth the wait. Can't wait until I get to see you again... The countdown's on.

Dear Hubbie,

I know I'm a day late at writing you this letter, but you'll have to forgive me. I was a bit preoccupied (with you)...

Last night made me realize how lucky we are to have people supporting us as a couple. Yes, going to church with both our families and sitting in the middle of them felt a bit awkward at first, but it showed how happy/proud our parents are that we're dating (that being said, glad we decided to go out on our own after instead of joining them for dinner, that step will come in time). This realization was then further reinforced when we met up with both of our sets of friends in Soulard/Ballpark Village. I had a blast and was so glad all of my friends not only approved of you as an individual, but also thought you were a wonderful match for me as well. We're lucky to have friends/family who care for us so much.

But most importantly, last night marked the beginning of us combining both our worlds into one. And yes, we added two more dimes to our collection (found on the floor at your friend's house)...

So today we made it official. We're a real couple. We also went on a hike today in Columbia (I found a penny before the hike and you spotted a fox, which you said was significant) exploring Gans Creek together. Despite having three hours of sleep, I felt pretty awake. As the quote goes, "You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep, because reality is finally better than your dreams." It might not be love yet, but today was for sure the start of something good.
