We should keep books in our house. Even if we don't read them, we'll still have them there to look intelligent and well-rounded when the neighbors come over. If they really are taking up too much space, we can always replace them with photos and flowers. Not as sophisticated, but still just as cozy.

Please tell me that there will be times in our relationship when we "mix things up" a bit. Getting into the same routine may be comforting, but after a while can also be a bit boring. If we don't have a treadmill or stationary bike in our basement, then we should get a gym membership somewhere. Physical fitness is important and will keep us young. There are a number of good things that come from exercising, and it would be fun to do it together.

I know that God has truly “Blessed the Broken” road on my way to finding love with you. After all the heartbreaks and tears, my heart and faith in love was restored entirely when I fell in love with you. You are not just another 99% guy that I met for a portion of my life, but the 1% that I chose to spend a large portion of my life with.
Although you may give me a few tears now and then, most of them will be tears of laughter and love. I know that you will never break my heart and that I hope that you will take care of it with all of yours. Love me with everything you have, and I will always do the same in return.

If at all possible, do not keep secrets from me. A healthy marriage is not built upon lies, and I feel that we should always be upfront and honest. Trust should build over time, and should act as a steady foundation in a relationship. If I ask "do these jeans make me look fat" (which I probably won't), the answer you give should be what you honestly think. Unless of course they were very expensive and I can't return them. Then the answer is most definitely a "no."

When we name our children, we need to be careful of how they will be called in class when their is a substitute teacher. If at all possible, their names should be easy to pronounce and should not be confusing (i.e. does Thomas go by Thomas, Tom, or Tommy? Not that we would name a kid that anyways). Having to correct people is just a pain.

Like those moments when you finish my sentence, I answer a question you never actually asked, or you somehow know what I am thinking for dinner before I even say anything. But in the event that this does not happen, the answer to the dinner question will more than likely be Chinese, Mexican, or chicken (just in case you were wondering). And the remote is where you last left it.
